INVISION IS GREEN CERTIFIED CEDAR VALLEY BUSINESS



(Waterloo, Iowa) - As part of an initiative to make the Cedar Valley a more sustainable place to live and work, the Waterloo Convention and Visitor’s Bureau developed the “Green Cedar Valley” certification program to recognize local businesses that are integrating green practice into their daily operations. INVISION is one the first businesses in the Cedar Valley to be Green Certified, sharing the title with only 3 other businesses.

Businesses that desire to be green certified must complete an electronic application and acquire a total of 40 or more points in 10 different categories including Buying and Inventory Management, Community Impact and Personal Health and Wellness to name a few.

As firm believers in sustainability and its importance, we observe green practices in our design for others and daily within our firm. As national and local members of the United States Green Building Council, we subscribe to their mission – “To transform the way buildings and communities are designed, built and operated; enabling an environmentally and socially responsible, healthy and prosperous environment that improves the quality of life.”
