Experience Requirement: B. Arch student who has completed year 3 or 4; M. Arch student who has completed year 2

Position Description
Design Technology interns at INVISION will be given a broad range of exposure to the design and documentation process. We believe that the development of design technology is important to all aspects of professional architectural practice and is what sets the stage for great design in the future. Design Technology interns at INVISION will be involved in developing visual programming workflows in all stages of a project. Additionally, the position will be involved in the research of evolving technologies that contribute to advancing the design approach. Hiring decisions for summer interns will be made in February. All eligible applicants are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Learn visual programming software (Dynamo/​Grasshopper)
  
• Understanding design and documentation process
• Develop programming workflows for design and documentation
• Research design technology and innovation
• Other tasks as available

Qualifications:

• Basic Revit
• Dynamo Interest
• Rhinoceros
• Grasshopper Experience
