Working with communities to address their needs is the most rewarding aspect of my job. Input from the user groups of a project is essential to creating spaces that will serve their communities for years to come. Listening to passionate staff, parents and students to transform their thoughts and ideas into a conceptual design is a lot of fun. It only gets better as that concept becomes a reality.

Fun Fact
  • I am from a very large family; my paternal grandmother had 10 children and has over 100 descendants. A weird fact is that holidays during my childhood were celebrated in the family funeral home that adjoined my grandma’s home. Of her three sons, my father was the only one who didn’t become a funeral director. Instead, he works in building material sales which inspired my career path.
