New Senior Associates announced at INVISION

As INVISION pursues our goal of enriching the lives of those we touch, our core values outline our design passion, trustworthy relationship integrity, our commitment to knowledge and innovation, and our studio culture. This holistic vision for the sustained betterment of our firm is rooted in our studio. Recently, the Board recognized individuals for their continued efforts in advancing our firm and demonstrating INVISION’s core values.

The following individuals will be recognized as Senior Associates. They embody our firm’s culture of design excellence, environmental leadership, innovation, and being excellent collaborators. They are passionate influencers, energetic mentors, and bring unique value through specific subject matter expertise.

Abbey Huppenbauer, IIDA Abbey has been a registered interior design at INVISION for eight years. A true team player, she excels at mentoring and leading design teams, working directly with clients to turn visions into reality and thinking outside the box about what is possible for interior spaces. Abbey is a true listener who brings creative solutions to our projects daily.

Heidi Willis, AIA, WELL AP — Heidi, a licensed architect, joined INVISION in 2015 with her Master of Architecture degree. Her exceptional leadership skills shine through in her extensive project experience, including higher education and healthcare, as well as within her responsibilities as the Des Moines Studio Leader.

Maggie Watkins, AIA, WELL AP — Maggie, a licensed architect, joined INVISION in 2013. Her collaboration with diverse project teams and multi-disciplinary consultants and contractors brings added value to the team. As a project manager and design team leader, Maggie’s ability to quickly create models that demonstrate the architectural and interior design vision provides high value to our clients.

Shannon Swift, AIA, WELL AP — Shannon has been a licensed architect with INVISION for eight years. Her dedication to healthcare design brings a balanced approach of improving patient and caregiver experience coupled with equipment requirements, staff needs, and budgets. In addition, her passion to use data-driven information to create solutions makes her an invaluable resource. She is a compassionate individual who believes everyone involved in the project contributes to the design solution.

Each of these women have played a pivotal role in fostering a stronger and more cohesive work environment. Their dedication to our studio and clients is evident every day through their eagerness to learn, their thoughtful mentorship and their creative solutions for the built environment.
