My passion for design is fed by the satisfaction of seeing a building in place at the end of a complex, creative process. The process should be responsive to a variety of factors across a wide spectrum, ranging from the client’s needs, wants and budget, to codes, climate, culture and creative vision. I find synthesizing these factors into a finished building set in the built environment gratifying and — in a word — worthwhile.
