My design approach combines research with compelling storytelling. I draw inspiration from discussions with clients as they describe the current atmosphere of a space and envision its future, allowing design to close the gap between emotion and function. I use my own experiences and evidence-based design to inform decisions on materiality, scale, and spatial organization. I like the design process because it is collaborative and allows ideas to evolve into intentional design solutions.
