INVISION staff attended two events this March for the next generation of designers, at Iowa State University and the University of Kansas.

Principal Kristina Mehmen and Megan Davis attended the University of Kansas Health and Wellness Symposium, meeting with six young architecture students who are focusing their studies on healthcare design. Connections made at this event in the past have led to interns who have gone on to join the INVISION team full-time (including Megan). Mehmen got to spend time one-on-one with the students, learning about them and their work while sharing how our dedicated healthcare team at INVISION goes about adding value to the facilities and operations of our clients.

Further north, and coincidentally on the same day, INVISION staff attended the Design Career Fair at Iowa State University, talking with many students interested in learning more about the firm for possible internships. Justin Bailey, Samantha Henke and Kindra Christensen manned a booth and talked with the young designers. There was a great turnout again this year, and we are excited about the connections made and the potential future collaborations that can grow out of these great events.
