Controller Actively seeking

INVISION is seeking a full-time Controller to join our team. The candidate must have solid communication, technology, analytical and management skills. Candidates should possess knowledge of all aspects of generally accepted accounting principles.

Description and Details:

The Controller will oversee and coordinate all firm-wide financial operations, and ensure operations function efficiently.

INVISION has flexible work hours with the core hours of business being Monday thru Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Full time salaried employees are expected to average 45 hours/week. Regular travel will be expected between our 2 offices.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist Partners in financial leadership, vision, and direction
  • Executive assistant to firm Partners
  • Member of the Management Team
  • Financial planning and analysis
  • Managing the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data
  • Coordinating and preparing internal financial statements
  • Providing management with information vital to decision-making processes
  • Managing the budget process
  • Assessing current accounting operations, offering recommendations for improvement and implementing new processes
  • Evaluating accounting and internal control system
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of accounting software and supporting database, as needed
  • Developing and monitoring business performance metrics
  • Manage a variety of office administrative support activities (e.g., human resources, purchasing, benefit programs, insurance activities and leasing)
  • Internal and external point-of contact for legal matters
  • Bi-weekly payroll and reporting
  • Create monthly client invoices
  • Tax planning coordination, including quarterly estimates and returns with 3rd party accountant
  • Evaluation of project contracts and amendments
  • Special projects as assigned
  • Lead the management team to direct day to day operational decisions

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5 years experience in similar position
  • Ability to travel between offices
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong communication and organization skills

Project Architect, 4-10 years experience Always looking for top talent

This position is for a seasoned and motivated project architect with experience working independently, and leading teams.

Description and Details:

  • Responsibilities include a wide range of tasks in the development of projects throughout each project phase across multiple industries and project sizes

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A professional degree in Architecture is required
  • Architectural license is preferred or evidence that licensure will be achieved
  • A minimum of 4 years experience
  • Computer and software skills including Revit
  • Experience in the preparation of contract documents, specification coordination and review, consultant and design team leadership, familiarity with building codes, project budgeting and cost analysis is required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • The successful candidate will possess strong design conceptualization and visualization skills

Sustainability Coordinator Always looking for top talent

We are currently looking for a designer to lead our team in sustainable design. The goal is to advance INVISION’s sustainability program.

 

Description and Details

  • Implement innovative sustainable design strategies and methodologies
  • Engage with staff, clients and consultants to develop strategies for achieving sustainability goals for building design, construction and/or operations
  • Become knowledgeable with energy modeling software and train others

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, Construction Management or related field
  • 3-5 years’ minimum experience in the Architecture, Engineering or Construction industry

INVISION has an opening for an Intern Architect with 2-5 years of experience. We like to do great work and have fun doing it.

Interior Designer Always looking for top talent

This position is an opportunity for an Interior Designer to work in an architectural studio. You will assist project teams in designing progressive and functional interior spaces. You will work on a wide range of tasks from schematic design through construction administration.

Your day-to-day tasks may include:

  • General office work and design library upkeep
  • Research and select colors/finishes/materials
  • Perform site survey and documentation
  • Attend project team meetings
  • Contribute to design ideas
  • Produce construction documents
  • Attend client and consultant meetings
  • Learn Architectural terms and definitions
  • Produce renderings and other graphics materials

Qualifications:

  • A professional degree in Interior Design is required. 4-year CIDA accredited degree is a plus
  • On track towards NCIDQ certification
  • Computer and software skills including Microsoft Office, Revit and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience in furniture specifications is a plus
  • Experience in Healthcare design is a plus
