INVISION designed the new headquarters for the Florida Department of Revenue, creating a unified and efficient campus that embodies functionality, sustainability, and employee well-being. Situated on a 47-acre site in Tallahassee, the development includes three primary structures: a two-story call center and two identical five-story, 200,000-square-foot office buildings. Together, they form a cohesive workplace environment that supports more than 2,000 employees and streamlines operations across the state.
The campus design emphasizes connectivity and flexibility through open-plan office layouts, raised access flooring, and abundant natural light. Shared amenities such as a central fitness area, café, and generous training and conferencing facilities foster collaboration and promote a healthy work-life balance. Sustainable strategies were integrated throughout the project, resulting in LEED NC Gold certification.
By consolidating 18 separate offices into a single, purpose-built campus, the Florida Department of Revenue achieved significant operational efficiency, reducing its footprint to an impressive ratio of 178 usable square feet per staff member. The design reflects INVISION’s commitment to delivering forward-thinking, high-performance workplaces that enhance productivity and reflect the values of the organizations they serve.
