University of Northern Iowa North End Zone Renovation

Cedar Falls, IA

INVISION’s 60-year relationship with the University of Northern Iowa was called upon to develop a new athletic experience for both players and fans. The first phase sought to create a new home for Panther football training. The addition links the new locker rooms and team rooms in the UNI Dome with training and rehabilitation facilities in the Human Performance Center. In Phase Two of the renovation, the game day viewing platform and office suite were created to offer a premium athletic experience, as well as assisting in recruitment and fundraising opportunities.

The university spirit was reflected in the sleek, modern interior design of the office suite. Overlooking the north end zone expanse, the game day viewing platform offered an upscale experience in the UNI Dome. Full-length windows slide open to allow the sights and sounds of the game to envelop special guests and fans.

From the UNI-Dome ground breaking in 1974 to today, the goal has always been to recruit talent and provide a great fan experience for the Cedar Valley. Working with UNI Athletics to transform underutilized space within the UNI-Dome into a top-notch Division 1 locker room and game day viewing platform created new amenities for both players and fans. This was a welcomed opportunity for INVISION to be able to work with our colleagues and friends to support the purple and gold. Go Panthers!
