Woolsey Hall, home to Wichita State University’s Barton School of Business, occupies a prominent site between the university’s historic main campus and Innovation Campus. The three-story, 134,000 SF building draws from this location, creating a physical and academic connection between traditional business education and industry.
Visioning sessions with students, faculty, staff, and other stakeholders helped establish priorities for the new building and informed its organization. A range of classrooms, study areas, and shared spaces supports different approaches to teaching and learning while providing opportunities for interaction beyond the classroom.
Woolsey Hall achieved LEED Gold certification, reflecting the university’s commitment to responsible building performance and long-term stewardship.
