Attracting and retaining top talent was a priority for Forvis Mazars’ Salt Lake City workplace. With the existing office no longer reflecting the experience the firm wanted to provide employees and recruits, the design team developed a contemporary workplace inspired by the surrounding mountain landscape.
A custom wood ceiling and wall installation creates the focal point of the space, using angular forms reminiscent of mountain peaks to establish a distinct sense of place. That geometry carries throughout the workplace in finishes, lighting, and architectural details, creating a consistent design language rooted in the Salt Lake City setting.
Shared work and gathering spaces provide opportunities for employees to connect throughout the day while creating a welcoming environment for prospective talent. The result pairs Forvis Mazars’ workplace goals with an architectural identity specific to its location.
