Of Course Kitchen & Company brings South Asian influences into a contemporary American restaurant setting, reflecting the chef’s Southern Indian heritage and approach to fine dining. Within a compact footprint, the design establishes distinct areas for arrival, the bar, and dining while maintaining visual connections throughout the restaurant.
A custom wood screen separates the bar from the main dining room, using triangular forms influenced by Indian architecture to create both separation and transparency. Built-in booths, drapery, patterned floor tile, and detailing at the bar add texture and depth, while lighter ceilings and darker furnishings help define the intimate dining environment.
References to Southern Indian architecture and materiality are incorporated throughout the space, connecting the restaurant’s interior to its culinary identity without relying on literal interpretations.
